Next to Wal-Mart, after shopping, it is also a chain store, and I have eaten it once in Atlantic City. Overall, the side dishes are better than steaks.

Italian restaurant, we have a lot of people to eat together, the manager specially gave the table, the service is very good, the Italian food is also very authentic.

While traveling in NJ we stopped at the Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner one evening because it was near our hotel. It&rsquo;s a typical chain restaurant. The lighting seemed to be on the darker side but the restaurant was clean. When we arrived about 7 PM and the restaurant was packed; we had a 15-minute wait for a table. As a result of the crowd, it was also a bit on the noisy side; but with a crowd that large it&rsquo;s to be expected. The staff was very friendly and competent. It appeared everyone was helping each other get orders and drinks delivered. We decided to go light and we both ordered a grilled chicken and strawberry salad ($14). We were pleasantly surprised by the salad; it was very fresh, the chicken well cooked and warm, the strawberries were fresh, the greens had a good crunch and the salad had grapes, oranges, nuts and a raspberry vinaigrette. Not what we expected from a steakhouse. We were very satisfied and would not hesitate to try Longhorn again.

I recently planned a group lunchroom at this restaurant to celebrate a friend&#39;s 80th birthday, and want to take a minute to compliment the staff. Lisa Studley, the mgr., was so helpful and accomodating letting me drop off the cake in advance. And our waiter presented it at the table with candles lit The lunch special is a real bargain and very good as is the ambiance of the restaurant. Our waiter was very patient and polite dealing with our group.

Not sure why someone just referred to this as a &#39;local hideaway&#39;. It&#39;s a chain restaurant and right on busy Route 537 next to Olive Garden and Walmart and just down the road from the Freehold Mall. Be that as it may, we&#39;ve had hit and miss meals here. I&#39;ve had really good NY strip steaks here and others where they were skimpy. I had a great Prime Rib but then others were so-so. Definitely a lack of consistency at times. Servers have been good for the most part. We continue to visit as my kids like the Chicken Tenders meal and they have a nice &#39;cool and crisp&#39; larger than normal salad included with meals. But overall due to lack of consistency it is just average.

The menu is limited, especially for people with food sensitivities or allergies. Highly over-priced as well.
